The day everything went live

Hello. Last time I told you we were starting to build the real version of the game, and I would like to pick up right where I left off — because this was the day when a whole pile of things we had been quietly working on for a long time all stepped into the light at once.

🌏 This site speaks six languages now

You can read the site in ไทย, English, 日本語, 한국어, 简体中文 and 繁體中文. When you arrive it picks your language from your device for you, or you can switch it yourself in the top right corner. Every translation here was written by hand, one language at a time — not tipped into a machine translator and called done. There is also a warm espresso-coloured night mode, for those of you who like the dark. ☕🌙

🎨 A room where the memories live

We opened a new page called Art — a small gallery of the pixel art from the game's prototype days. Everything from the very first barista, who was drawn at such an angle that she had to be retired, to the first mackerel tabby who really did walk around the shop. None of it will be in the finished game, but it is the road that brought us here, so we wanted to keep it somewhere you could see it.

🏡 There is a place for everyone to sit now

The official Discord server is open! There is a room for chatting, a room for showing off your cat, a room for pitching ideas for the game, and a log room where the shop's own cat, Meow Mama, keeps dropping in to tell you how things are coming along. If you would like to sit and watch the game grow up alongside us, come on in.

📸 And… the first picture from the new version

The new version of the game managed to take its first picture of itself — still only an orange box on an empty floor, but to us it is proof that every one of our tools is genuinely up and running. The prototype taught us what is fun. Now it is time to build the real thing out of all of it.

See you in the next one. 🐾
